The flight to LA was about 5 hours and it was very pleasant. I arrived a few hours before my friend. The weather in LA was very nice and warm. I rented a car at the airport and I got the smallest car I could get. I rented a SUV, a very nice car. Well, I got the smallest in the SUV category. J In LA one must have a car, so we rented one.
We stayed at The Westin Bonaventure, 5 star hotel, in Downtown Los Angeles. We got complimentary upgrade to the tower suite, which was great – a big living room separated from the bedroom with a great view of LA. We also got complimentary wine tasting, complimentary breakfast, complimentary internet access and some other small things. It was great.
We drove to West Hollywood and Beverly Hills Shopping Center. I got myself two pair of shoes, and some t-shirts. We had a few drinks, and a great dinner at Boa Restaurant. Apparently the Boa restaurant is one of good places to eat in LA. It is on Sunset Boulevard. The place was very nice and cozy. They had great steaks and served very big portions. It was a very good day and we are so excited for tomorrow since tomorrow we are going to see Janet Jackson live in concert. Yeah, we can’t wait, especially my friend since he is a big fan of Janet Jackson. We got front row seats on the floor, right in front of the stage, so we are looking forward to the concert.
