Mysore, India

We arrived to Mysore last night after visiting one of Indian’s National Parks, Bandipur. We stayed at The Prince hotel, which was a good decent hotel. There is not so much to see in Mysore. The biggest attraction is the Royal Palace of Mysore. My godson, Melvin, experienced Camel and Elephant riding for the first time in his life and he indeed had lots of fun today. I had lots of fun too. We took some amazing pictures and some of them are published below.

After the palace we went to the Mysore Zoo. Melvin saw lots of animals for the first time in his life. The highlight of the trip was the gorilla that waved and clapped for us. Gorilla also threw a coconut on us and Melvin caught it. Everyone laughed and enjoyed gorilla’s show. There were two of them and both of them were wild and not trained at all. They were very entertaining. Below is one of the videos I took and some pictures from the zoo.

We arrived in Bangalore around 7:00pm after about 3 hours of driving (about 140 km). After the dinner in Bangalore we went for a movie. We saw “The Happenings” and it was kind a scary psychological thriller. Another wonderful and amazing day.

It is amazing how much different things one can experience in just a short period of time. Life is wonderful.
