Day #23 – India

Today I learned that last night on the office celebration dinner people were calling my name and asking me to come to the stage. Also, I heard that my seat was assigned next to D.M. Oh, this was a perfect chance for me to do some networking, but no, instead I was watching a movie. Well, now there is no point to cry over spilled milk, but this was one chance in a million.

“When one door of happiness closes, another opens; but often we look so long at the closed door that we do not see the one which has been opened for us.” – Hellen Keller

You know, here in India one can see many different things every day. So today we were passing some restaurants and stores and there was a big sign saying “Open for Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner and all other times in between”. Isn’t it easier to just say “Open 24/7”. I don’t know, that was just a thought.

Do you want to hear what happened with the commissionaire? Was I ever able to register? Believe it or not, I decided not to register. Apparently, even if you have visa over 180 days, but are not going to stay in the country for more than 180 days then you don’t need to register. Yeah, that’s my luck.

That it will never come again is what makes life so sweet.
